Painting With Acrylic: Christmas Glitter
THE FOUNDATION OF EVERYTHING
Every Christmas tree starts the same way — with a shape and a vision. Here, that shape is a triangle canvas, and the vision is entirely your own. Paint flows first, tracing the ghost of branches in warm rose gold. Then comes the glitter — green, purple, gold, iridescent — dusted and pressed until the canvas catches light from every angle. Then the charms: a gingham butterfly, a plaid gift, a red reindeer silhouette, pearls, rhinestones, micro beads, a ribbon bow tied by hand.
This is hybrid craft in its most celebratory form — painting, embellishment, and mixed media colliding on a single canvas. No two trees will ever be decorated the same way, because no two people reach for the same charm first.
The foundation of everything here is permission. Permission to pile it on, layer it up, and make it yours.
Paint it. Glitter it. Charm it. Call it Christmas.
MORE THAN A KEEPSAKE
A store-bought decoration is forgotten by January. This one is not. Because you remember every decision — the moment you chose purple glitter over silver, the charm you almost didn't add, the way the ribbon bow took three tries to sit right. This Christmas tree canvas is built from those decisions, layer by glittering layer: paint, micro beads, rhinestones, fabric charms, pearls, and more glitter than seems reasonable until you see it catch the light.
This is a hybrid artwork — part painting, part embellishment, part collage — finished entirely by hand and impossible to replicate. It will go up every December. It will be recognised immediately as yours.
Made in one session. Kept for every Christmas after.
BESPOKE FINISHED & HYBRID FLAIR
This is where Envy Her Crafts does what no craft kit can: we put everything on the table and trust you to know what belongs on your tree. The base is paint — warm, swirling rose gold brushed across a triangle canvas. From there, the finishing is entirely yours to direct. Green glitter for the branches or gold? Rhinestones scattered or placed with intention? The gingham butterfly at the base or tucked mid-tree? The plaid gift charm front and centre, or hiding like a real present?
Every embellishment — the micro beads, the pearl clusters, the fabric charms, the ribbon bow, the reindeer silhouette stamped in red — is a choice. Layered together, they create something that looks maximalist but is deeply considered, because the person making it cared about every single piece they placed.
This is hybrid craft: painting as the foundation, embellishment as the language, and the maker as the one who decides when it is finally, perfectly done.
No template. No limit. Just your version of Christmas, made by hand.
