There is nothing quite like watching the spark of curiosity turn into a brand-new skill! Over the course of two engaging sessions, we had the wonderful opportunity to host 19 enthusiastic students from Chung Cheng High School for a deep dive into the "Foundations of Crochet."
Learning to crochet requires patience, focus, and coordination—qualities these students showed in spades. Over the two weeks, our instructors guided them step-by-step from the absolute basics of handling yarn and managing tension to mastering the stitches needed to create 3D shapes. By the final session, the classroom was filled with a colorful array of handmade amigurumi octopuses, each featuring its own unique personality. It was incredibly rewarding to see the students proudly showcasing their plush creations alongside their teachers.
